International Dunnage (ID) offers AAR Verified, eco-friendly load securement solutions with ID Dunnage Airbags. ID Dunnage Airbags protects your cargo from the time it is loaded and shipped until it reaches its final destination and provides excellent load securement preventing load shift and damage during transportation.
ID Dunnage Airbags consist of an outside layer made from Polypropylene with an internal airtight liner manufactured from Polyethylene that is inflated using a Valve and Inflation Tool. ID Dunnage Airbags take up less space when stored compared to traditional Dunnage and is lightweight yet extremely strong and can be used in wide variety of applications. Fast inflation allows for operator effieciency offering cost and time savings. The woven outer layer is moisture resistant unlike paper Airbags which are not. ID Dunnage Airbags Valve design makes it easy to deflate and remove the Airbag after use.
ID Dunnage Airbags are manufactured using ISO 9001 Standards and Levels 1 through 5 as well as Square Airbags are verified by the Association of American Railroads (AAR). Using state-of-the-art equipment, quality is our highest priority and is checked for throughout the manufacturing process. Part of this process includes the testing of woven tapes to check their tensile strength properties. Valves are inspected before use and airbags are leak tested to ensure they meet strict quality requirements. Burst testing ensures that all ID Dunnage Airbags meet performance standards as set out by the Association of American Railroads. A barcoded label ensures there is full traceability throughout the manufacturing process. International Dunnage is also registered with a GS1 and IPS barcoding system which allows for easy integration with ERP and MRP systems.
